Workshops
In times of major life change, we often feel alone and isolated, as our immediate social group may not be able to hold space for us or support us in a way that makes us feel fully seen and heard. There is also the problem of cultural taboos - those topics we aren’t meant to talk about, such as death or how the new baby - as lovely as she is - is really hard to cope with. We are told “pull yourself together,” “move on,” or “get over it already,” which completely denies us the opportunity to process what has happened and to adjust, grow, and transition well.
These workshops are facilitated one-off gatherings around a theme that we will explore together as a group. They are designed to support your transition process in a safe environment. As a result you will feel validated, witnessed and belonged in a community of trust - to be truly seen and heard, receive support, and offer the same to others.

Saying “Goodbye”
When we experience a loss sometimes we don’t get the chance to say goodbye properly. Sometimes life obligations, social expectations or work demands mean that we are robbed of the opportunity to really process the loss. So we end up carrying-on while holding on to our unsaid goodbyes, not really knowing what to do. Sometimes we throw ourselves into the “busy making” of work, because the loss is too hard to face. And sometimes we feel guilt or shame because we didn’t say or do what we really wanted to say or do. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. Many of us carry unprocessed loss.
Whatever you need to say goodbye to, whether it’s a loved one, a relationship, a part of yourself, or something you’ve been holding that you need to say goodbye to, this full-day workshop is designed to support you to acknowledge what was, express gratitude and say goodbye. We will be using the physical space and co-created ritual to really honour and be present to what was and what needs to happen for a goodbye that feels complete.
